The only place this course is taught in the New York Metro Area.
Holding a valid Washington DC Pistol Permit will allow you to carry your handgun in our nation's capitol and 20 states as well as the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. This course is required to apply for a non-resident permit in the District of Columbia. Our Concierge Services can provide this course on a one-on-basisin the privacy of your home or office or we can do groups and families in a classroom setting.
Full details on the reciprocity of states will be provided in class as well as application assistance.
You must have a valid NYS pistol permit as a prerequisite to attend this class. A live fire test will be conducted. See Product Info for more information.
Washington DC Pistol Permit Course
This class requires a live fire element to complete the course.
Should you require the NRA Live Fire Certificate for the Basic Safety Course it can be obtained for an additional $100 which can be paid for on the day of the course in cash. If you are interested receiving the Maryland State qualification, it can be obtained for an additional $150.00 which can be paid on the day of the course in cash.

Armed Citizenry offers a 7-Day refund policy. All pistol permits are subject to the determinations of local law enforcement agencies and their findings. There are no refunds for denied permits or permits which have been submitted for processing. In the event a permit is denied Armed Citizenry will provide guidance on how to proceed with the appeals process. In addition, there are no refunds once a class is attended, or if canceled within 24 hours of scheduled time, or if application work has commenced.
